There are all kinds of correctional facilities out there. Most of my experience in the Corrections field has been in a large county jail. However, almost all of what I put down here will apply to most kinds of jails and prisons and all types of inmates.
I’ve worked in the “Safety and Security” field for nearly 30 years. I’ve worked as an Instructor for nearly 25 of those years and as a Field Training Officer for close to 15 years now.
